The Walking Dead Review

The Walking Dead is a drama TV show that started airing in 2010 on the AMC network

The Walking Dead is a horror TV show based on a popular comic book series of the same name. It is set in a post-apocalyptic world where zombies are roaming the world.

The lead character Rick Grimes, who is a deputy sheriff from Atlanta, Georgia, wakes up from a coma to find out that the world has been overrun by zombies, commonly referred to as “Walkers”. Rick searches for his family, wife “Lori” and son “Carl”  and is soon reunited with them and his police partner. Rick soon becomes the leader of his survival group and are in constant battle for survival. After some time, people accept the world as it is and groups compete for survival in such a horrific world.

The Show focuses on the dark side of what people are capable of, to survive and the great lengths they can go to defend their own groups even from competing people and not only zombies.

The show has a huge fan base and has gained huge acclaim and awards so far. It will be resuming with Season 8 this October. You can read about it here.

This is a show that we recommend if you’re not faint-hearted due to the graphic nature.
